Innovation networks received an extensive attention as an effective notion for representing and investigating multiagent collaboration systems for innovation. This entry illustrates a specific type of innovation network for the development of radically new or improved services between public and private agents, namely Public-Private Innovation Networks in Services (PPINSs). PPINSs emerged within service-oriented economies as a new phenomenon that enhances complementarities and synergies between the specialist knowledge bases and competences of public, private and third sector organizations for the production and diffusion of innovations, including non-technological forms of innovation that have long remained invisible to the lens of traditional indicators.

Abstract
Innovation networks received an extensive attention as an effective notion for representing and investigating multiagent collaboration systems for innovation. This entry illustrates a specific type of innovation network for the development of radically new or improved services between public and private agents, namely Public-Private Innovation Networks in Services (PPINSs). PPINSs emerged within service-oriented economies as a new phenomenon that enhances complementarities and synergies between the specialist knowledge bases and competences of public, private and third sector organizations for the production and diffusion of innovations, including non-technological forms of innovation that have long remained invisible to the lens of traditional indicators.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
