The book in which the article is published represents the final step of a teachers formation Project on Environmental education, lasting three years, promoted by IRRE Emilia-Romagna. The book was presented in a National Congress at the “Fiera del Libro”, in Bologna. The authors discussed the results of the research, and the educational perspectives; M. Hack and other scientists interested in educational process gave their relevant contributions. Copies of the book have been diffused (free of charge) in all elementary schools of Emilia Romagna, promoting processes of environmental education (monitored by IRRE). The results of the research are available on line kidslink.bo.cnr.it/irrsaeer/ambiente/ - and are published on a CD, available for the schools of other regions.
