This paper describes a model for a distributed computing composed by a set of heterogeneous systems. All the systems are internetworked in LAN or WAN, and communicate with OSI's Session layer protocols. An implementa- tion of this model on IBM and Digital computers is presented along with the difficulties met and resolved. Finally, a test-application shows how to use such a model to run concurrently tasks on the model implemented.
