In this paper, we would like to present a research activity with the purpose of a design carried out to develop a monitoring system capable of integrating a wired or wireless network of dynamic accelerometers. This activity involves the design of a new low-cost sensor capable of measuring three-axis dynamic acceleration from a sub Hz to a hundred Hz regime (0.01 to 100 Hz) and linking them multiple sensors in a network in order to get to monitor large infrastructures such as bridges, viaducts, and tunnels capable of measuring significant physical quantities of the structural response to the actions and environmental conditions of the infrastructure being monitored.
