This chapter addresses the contribution of enantioselective high-performance liquid chromatography to the multidisciplinary field of chirality. More specifically, the syntheticmethods of accessing enantiomerically pure chiral compounds are not discussed here. Rather, applications of enantioselective HPLC for analytical problem-solving will be discussed, the final part of this chapter dealing with preparative and product-scale liquid chromatography.
