This document is written in fulfillment of the experimental activities on three-dimensional oscillating wings performed at the CNR-INSEAN towing tank. Aim of the investigation is to get information on the behavior of translating and oscillating wings, with different sectional shapes, in terms of unsteady hydrodynamic loads. Emphasis is put on the dynamic stall onset that deeply affects the hydrodynamic forces upon the wing. For sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal pitching motion laws, the data analysis allows to highlight the differences between the stationary hydrodynamic loads and those coming from the unsteady wing motion that, in turns, may induce dynamic stall occurrence. This document represents the Project Deliverable 1.0 in fulfillment of the Contract 13CT11.
