The present report, summarizes the work carried out in 2018 on the NIO1 experiment at Consorzio RFX in Padova, Italy. Experimental campaigns will be presented together with the modelling activities and the activities carried out on various plants. The activities were concentrated on the investigation of the new extraction grid in different conditions of the magnetic filter and using a cryogenic pump will be discussed and compared.

Abstract
