In the Valle Santa necropolis (Ager Veientanus), located about 11.5 km on the Via di Boccea, in the north-western sector of the Roman countryside, excavations carried out between 2011 and 2014 have brought to light in some tombs (“a tramite” type, with niches for cremations), seven Attic vases (red figured and black-gloss pottery) dated from 475-450 BC to 430-425 BC. The new Attic pottery finds from the Valle Santa necropolis offer the opportunity to analyze in depth the distribution of Attic pottery in Veii and its Ager, a study that has never been carried out systematically until now
