Magliano Sabina: i dati del territorio

This chapter summarizes the available data from the territories of Magliano Sabina and Poggio Sommavilla, produced by a consideration of the materials kept at the Civic Archaeological Museum of Magliano Sabina and by archaeological surveys conducted in the early 2000s. Topographic studies and collected material from north and south of the Fosso Campana have made it possible to document the presence of large rustic villas, such as those of Ponti Novi and San Sebastiano, with long continuity of life from the 1st century B.C. at least to the end of the 4th century A.D.
