This chapter presents the results of the investigations of the Roman villas located near or under the churches of S. Pietro ad Muricentum and S. Maria di Fianello in Montebuono. This bibliographic and archival data is enriched by archaeological evidence via topographic survey which allowed us to verify, at least in part, the presence of structures reported in previous reports.
