Falsi archeologici in mostra al Museo dei Brettii e degli Enotri di Cosenza: per un approccio legale all’archeologia

The exhibition Bello ma Falso: tutta un’altra storia! was aimed at stressing the importance of scientific research for the promotion of law-abiding culture in the field of cultural heritage. It also showed how the beauty of any artefact that is not authentic could tell a different story from the one that the reconstruction of the archaeological context and the cultural landscapes account for. Instead, objects without an origin context, altered or falsified, do not allow us to study past civilisations and recognize their identity in our own identity
