The studies were conducted within the research projects “Rock paintings in Cappadocia. For a project of knowledge, conservation and enhancement” in the territory of Nevşehir from 2006 by the University of Tuscia (Viterbo) with the participation of the University of Calabria from 2011 for the geological aspects. The project take place through the permission by the General Directorate of Museum and Monument of the Cultural and Tourism of the Turkish Repubblic.
