Abstract
We study the dynamics of a simplified model of atmospheric convection. The model represents a layer of dry air kept in statistically stationary radiative-convective equilibrium. We discuss the behavior and the spatial organization of the pattern of convective plumes that emerge in the system, and analyze the intermittency properties of the heat flux field.File in questo prodotto:
