Abstract
Bicomponent fibers were spun from Ultem 100 polyether-polyimide and a liq.-cryst. polyester (LCP). Optical microscopy showed that the LCPs appeared as long threadlike fibrils with a high aspect ratio, surrounded by a few droplets. Blend fibers contg. 30% LCP with a draw ratio = 50 had much lower orientation than 100% LCP fibers with draw ratio = 50File in questo prodotto:
