Stress experience often leads to several chronic health conditions such as hypertension, coronary heart disease and depression, and has been viewed as a potential danger in the personal growth of an individual. This study is based on the integration of virtual reality and non-invasive sensors for personal analysis and treatment of psychological stress. The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of mobile virtual reality exposure in reduction of anxiety in comparison with traditional relaxation method. During the experiment wearable integrated systems (SHIM- MERTM Platform — Health sensorized with intelligence, modularity, Mobility and Experimental Reusability) were used, able to transduce ECG and galvanic skin response (GSR) signals.
