A novel hybrid material (see graphical representation) was prepared by the intercalation of a bifunctional titanosilsesquioxane in synthetic sodium saponite. The hybrid was used as a filler of polystyrene to create a polymer nanocomposite with enhanced thermooxidative properties.

Abstract
