Riflessioni sul contributo del cavallo all’ideologia politico-religiosa degli Achemenidi

This article offers some reflections on the relationship between man and horse in Achaemenid society and more generally among ancient Iranian populations. It is a very deep and complex relationship that is loaded with various meanings that affect different spheres, from the political to the religious and even socioeconomic ones.

Questo articolo propone alcune riflessioni sul rapporto tra uomo e cavallo nella società achemenide e più in generale presso le popolazioni iraniche antiche. Si tratta di un rapporto molto profondo e complesso che si carica di vari significati che investono diverse sfere, da quella politica sino a quella religiosa e ancora socioeconomica.
