Abstract

In this work are presented the results of research devoted to the study of urban areas through remotely sensed data. In particular, remotely sensed data MIVIS obtained on the city of Rome made it possible to create maps to discriminate permeable and impermeable areas. Observations and considerations will be drawn on how the excessive sealing zone is having a negative for the disposal of rainwater, and for the microclimate of each area, and again for the recharging of underground aquifers, and the irreversible loss of land stolen uses natural.
