Aim of the present work is the evaluation of the influence of factors, external to research, on the scientific production in a specific field, that of Occupational Safety and Health. To this end the work performs the bibliometric analysis of a database of scientific publications, in order to highlight specific cases relative to research areas particularly represented at national level in different Countries. Three cases are highlighted and analyzed, showing how not-research bodies can somehow orient scientific publication in the field at national level.
