In the present work, we report a proof-of-concept application of a composite Aga-Q3 hydrogel for the gentle confinement and analysis of extracellular vesicles (EVs) on microarray analytical platforms. Thanks to their peculiar functional properties, our 3D microdroplets are suitable to phenotype EVs with specific antisurface antigen bioprobes, including antibodies and peptides.
