This essay proposes a re· Jlection on Giambattista Vico's poems, and traces the various phases o/ the poetic production o/ the Neapolitan philosopher. The purpose o/ the discussion is to highlight that the ideas expressed by Vico in bis most important works (De antiquissima, Diritto universale) and especially in the New Science were repeated in the verses that he recited in Neapolitan academies and salons, thus reaching a more widespread diffusion.. ,
