Considerazioni storiche e storiografiche su un frammento di Carone di Lampsaco: FGrHist 262 F 14

This paper proposes some historical and historiographical reflections on the fragment FGrHist 262 F 14 of Charon of Lampsakos. This fragment is undoubtedly referable to the Persikà of the historian of Lampsakos and deals with a topic that Herodotus talks about in the I book of Histories. This allows us to analyze the value of the fragment in the light of the historical context of origin and in the broader framework of Greek archaic historiography.

Questo articolo propone alcune riflessioni di tipo storico e storiografico sul frammento FGrHist 262 F 14 di Carone di Lampsaco. Questo frammento è senz’altro riferibile ai Persikà dello storico lampsaceno e tratta di un argomento di cui parla Erodoto nel I libro delle Storie. Ciò ci permette di analizzare il valore del frammento alla luce del contesto storico di origine e nel più ampio quadro della storiografia arcaica greca.
