The recent coronavirus pandemic put the whole world facing the problem of the end. The apocalypse is a theme that accompanied humanity throughout its history, but in capitalistic society, it takes on some particular characteristics. This article tries to examine some of these aspects by remembering recent events useful to build a mythology allowing us to imagine a different future.
