NAUTILOS aims to address gaps in marine observation and modelling by developing a new generation of cost-effective sensors and samplers for essential ocean variables, including physical (salinity, temperature), chemical (inorganic carbon, nutrients, oxygen), biological (phytoplankton, zooplankton, marine mammals), and micro-/nano-plastics. These advancements will enhance our understanding of environmental changes and human impacts related to aquaculture, fisheries, and marine litter.
