The problem of the identification of Radio Frequency Interferences (RFI) that corrupt Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data is addressed in this work. In particular, we propose a new approach based on the minimization of the Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) able to detect, on a pixel-by-pixel basis, the RFI signals within the considered SAR data. The performance of the proposed approach is assessed by means of both simulated and real-world airborne L-band SAR data corrupted by RFI signals

Abstract
The problem of the identification of Radio Frequency Interferences (RFI) that corrupt Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data is addressed in this work. In particular, we propose a new approach based on the minimization of the Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) able to detect, on a pixel-by-pixel basis, the RFI signals within the considered SAR data. The performance of the proposed approach is assessed by means of both simulated and real-world airborne L-band SAR data corrupted by RFI signalsFile in questo prodotto:
