Greening hotels: unveiling the role of employees amidst individual, organizational, and destination contextual factors

This study examines hotel employees' intentions to support green practices and the factors influencing their ecological behaviors, such as environmental attitudes, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Conducted across 30 hotels in Naples, Italy, it integrates survey data and contextual factors like tourism intensity and pollution. The research introduces "Destination Environmental Orientation" (DEO), emphasizing local stakeholders' environmental attitudes in driving sustainable initiatives in the hospitality sector.
