The first part of the chapter provides a description of the general themes discussed throughout the volume, detailing the main topics covered, the geographical areas of investigation, analytical perspectives, and methodologies employed. Additionally, a keyword analysis was conducted to highlight and discuss the primary topics explored within the contributions. The second part of the chapter presents key insights derived from the chapters, providing both researchers and practitioners with fresh perspectives and tools for developing governance models that can effectively respond to changes in the Mediterranean tourism sector.
