Looking at the structural difficulties that affect young Italians concerning employability and prospects, this paper aims to deconstruct the stereotypes that have characterised the narration of youth behaviour in Italy during the pandemic through analysing some data processed during the research entitled SaNaMi. Particularly the authors examine the disorientation of young people (between 19 and 24 years old) relating to job prospects and their family unit economic situation following the pandemic.
