Architectural heritage faces significant risks from disasters. Ensuring the safety of ancient buildings relies heavily on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), yet managing sensors and their data effectively poses complexities. Digital technologies offer a promising avenue to combat destruction and safeguard architectural heritage by monitoring, managing, and protecting it from disasters. In recent decades, the adoption of digital twin technologies for preserving cultural heritage has surged. This paper aims to examine the role of digital twins within the cultural heritage domain and their potential to replicate specific phenomena or environmental conditions, thereby curbing deterioration over time. Given the imperative to preserve heritage sites and historical buildings for future generations, this investigation holds substantial significance.

Abstract
Given the imperative to preserve heritage sites and historical buildings for future generations, this investigation holds substantial significance.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
