This report presents an application developed in the Excel/VBA environment for the automated calculation of the sputtering yield, namely the amount of material ejected from a surface when it is bombarded by ions. The application implements the classical formulations proposed by Matsunami (1983) and Yamamura (1984), which are among the most widely recognized references in the physics of sputtering of monoatomic solids. These formulations describe the dependence of sputtering on the energy of incident ions, their angle of incidence, and the chemical nature of the target material. The software enables calculations for five ion species (H, D, He, Ne, and Ar) interacting with any element of the periodic table. It automatically generates yield-versus-energy plots, yield-versus-angle plots, and the angular enhancement ratio Y(θ)/Y(0). The application is organized into several worksheets, including a control panel for setting calculation parameters, dedicated sheets for "light" and "heavy" ion calculations, and data tables containing all required physical constants. The control panel allows users to select the ion-target combination, graph type, energy range, angle of incidence, and error-analysis options. The report includes a detailed validation study demonstrating that the calculated results are consistent with both the values published by the original authors and those obtained using the sputtering calculator developed by the University of Vienna, thereby confirming the accuracy of the implementation. An additional section is devoted to error analysis, showing how the standard deviation of the parameter Q (sputtering coefficient) affects the confidence band of the yield-energy curves, Y(E). The physical meaning of the quantities Y(0), Y(θ), and their ratio is also discussed, highlighting their importance in the interpretation of material erosion as a function of the ion incidence angle. Overall, the report documents a reliable and versatile tool for the rapid application of the Yamamura and Matsunami sputtering formulas. The software provides an efficient framework for investigating material erosion phenomena in the field of plasma-material interactions.
