Migrazione e andamento demografico: da Terra di Lavoro a provincia di Caserta

The chapter proposes a long-term analysis of migration and demographic trends in the province of Caserta, from the Italian unification to new mobility. Like other Italian provinces, also Caserta underwent variations, unification and administrative subdivisions that partially complicate the analysis. The demographic trend of the territory has been reconstructed taking into account history, morphological diversifications, its composition and social differentiations, the level of industrialization, as well as migration and mobility. The attention is focused on macro-systemic data.
