A flood is a natural event that happens when a vary large amount of water flows into a previously dry area. The aim of this work is the drawing up a natural hazard map of the basin of the Cervaro River, often involved in hydrogeological instability processes. This map should show the flooded areas and the ones that could be inundated. This work establishes the relationship between the geological, pedological, hydrological, hydrogeological and meteoclimatic factors using a GIS software.

Abstract
A flood is a natural event that happens when a vary large amount of water flows into a previously dry area. The aim of this work is the drawing up a natural hazard map of the basin of the Cervaro River, often involved in hydrogeological instability processes. This map should show the flooded areas and the ones that could be inundated. This work establishes the relationship between the geological, pedological, hydrological, hydrogeological and meteoclimatic factors using a GIS software.File in questo prodotto:
