Leonardo Sciascia: la letteratura, la verità

This paper proposes an itinerary among the works of Leonardo Sciascia aimed at recognizing the implications of the link between truth and literature, a decisive moment in Sciascia’s reflection. The implication evolves from an initial conviction that literature could capture moments of truth in the events told and a more mature position that identifies the two concepts: literature ‘is’ truth, and even reality is born of certain literature. La scomparsa di Majorana and L’affaire Moro are the junction of this path, two books that tell of official truths that literature undertakes to unhinge.
