I latinismi al nominativo nella Commedia: censimento e casi esemplari

This work examines the Latinisms in nominative case which occur in Dante’s Commedia. The survey is focused on the loan words from the nominative case of impair syllabic masculine and feminine latin words belonging to the third declension. The § 1 offers a wider and more articulated census of this lexical category compared with the reference studies, while the §§ 2-3-4 are committed to a lexicographic analysis of three specimen words (grando ‘hail’, prefazio ‘solemn forewarning’, beatitudo ‘beatitude’).
