Abstract
The binding and ordering of C60 on a Pd(110) surface was studied by the complementary use of multiple experimental techniques. Distinct well-ordered striped phases were identified upon annealing C60 films to elevated temperatures. In particular, the results reveal that with all regular phases a reconstruction of the substrate is encountered, whereby the same orientation of the C60 cage with respect to the surface occurs.File in questo prodotto:
