Germana Ernst devoted most of her work to the study of Tommaso Campanella, basing the interpretation of his philosophical system on the attentive philological reconstruction of a large number of edited and inedited works. Taking into account Ernst's map of the biographical and intellectual journey of Campanella, this contribution try to present, through variations of recurrent motifs, the fundamental themes of his philosophy.
