This report presents the electrochemical characterization of Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs) for PEM water electrolysis cells, developed under a contract between CNR ITAE and SYENSQO. Both hydrocarbon-based (HC) and experimental perfluorosulfonic acid-based (PFSA) MEAs were evaluated, utilizing different ionomers (D79 and Nafion®), with a comparison against a Nafion® 212 benchmark.
