Abstract
A solar crucible was optically designed to be coupled with a Fresnel lens, which is a small-scale commercially available concentrator. To study the thermal aspects of the system, simple field experiments were conducted, and the results were used to set up a model. Finally, the designed crucible was analyzed using the developed model to evaluate its shape and behavior in vacuum or oxygen-free protected atmosphere.File in questo prodotto:
