Despite the existence of several studies describing the obtainment of bioactive molecules from in vitro cultures, this process remains a challenge for hemp. Indeed, not all hemp varieties develop in vitro tissues, and those that do are not always able to produce the desired compounds (e.g., cannabinoids). To this aim, we tested several elicitation treatments on different in vitro hemp cells and tissues, and pilot transformation experiments are currently in progress.

Abstract
Despite the existence of several studies describing the obtainment of bioactive molecules from in vitro cultures, this process remains a challenge for hemp. Indeed, not all hemp varieties develop in vitro tissues, and those that do are not always able to produce the desired compounds (e.g., cannabinoids). To this aim, we tested several elicitation treatments on different in vitro hemp cells and tissues, and pilot transformation experiments are currently in progress.File in questo prodotto:
