Abstract

New forage systems aimed at supporting livestock needs throughout the year with limited use of supplementary feed and inputs should be based on the spatial-temporal diversification of forage production. The paper reports on successful techniques that can be implemented in production processes for the establishment of pastures and ways to reduce the feed gap at farm level by using different complementary forage resources.
