This paper presents a control strategy focused on minimizing harmonic losses in Dual-Three Phase Induction Motors by using a dynamic input allocation technique. Such motors, increasingly adopted in high-reliability applications, exhibit complex interactions between their multiple subspaces due to inverter-induced voltage harmonics and system nonlinearities. The proposed control approach compensates undesirable harmonic components in the auxiliary z1, z2 subspace by generating control inputs within the null space of the transformation matrix, without affecting the main sD, sQ subspace responsible for mechanical performance. This method improves overall system efficiency by reducing losses and mitigating the impact of undesired harmonic components. The proposed control method has been experimentally tested on a suitably devised test setup to validate its effectiveness.
