Il deputato Franco Ferrarotti: tra polis e utopia comunitaria

Member of Parliament Franco Ferrarotti: Between polis and communitarian utopia · The article examines Ferrarotti’s interventions during his parliamentary activity. The discursive do- cuments are used to explore Adriano Olivetti’s human and theoretical influence on his con- ceptualizations of the city and community, which later became the subject of more refined sociological reflection. In his early research, the scholar had analyzed the city and the commu- nity as relational effects of social and economic groupings. It can be hypothesized that, follo- wing his human and political encounter with Olivetti, he developed a different understanding of these notions, viewing them as dimensional spaces in which to reorganize the political life of the territory.
