A Pilot Project for Promoting Linguistic Linked Open Data

This paper presents a pilot initiative, part of the H2IOSC infrastructure, that strives to support and promote the creation, publication, and sharing of Linguistic Linked Open Data (LLOD) in Italy and beyond. We describe the different parts of the pilot project: those related to vocabulary hosting, RDF data publication, training development, and use case promotion. Key contributions include the publication and hosting of the REALITER series of lexicons, the PLLOD triple store platform, and LLOD-focused training initiatives. We also describe a series of use-cases taking place within the pilot.
