Abstract

The accurate and robust reconstruction of a digital repre- sentation using 3D scanning technologies is an important task in many application field. An important problem in this field is the integration of multiple range maps in a sin- gle polygonal surface. In this paper we describe a robust and effective implementation of a reconstruction algorithm based on implicit representation which, thanks to out-of- core techniques, allows to efficiently reconstruct large set of range maps.
