ESCAPE MOON is an educational escape game designed for primary school children, created within the outreach activities of the ESA CubeSat mission LUMIO (Lunar Meteoroid Impact Observer). The aim of the game is to introduce young students to basic concepts of planetary science and the dynamics of meteor showers, using an engaging and interactive format. ESCAPE MOON was tested during the European Researchers’ Night in Milan (2024) and later implemented in a 40-hour educational program (Passeggiando tra i pianeti) held at a primary school in Padova (2025), with funding from the Italian PNRR.
