La memoria dei gruppi familiari di Norchia nei luoghi di culto più significativi: piattaforme, facciate, vani di sottofacciata e camere funerarie ipogee

The extraordinary documentation provided by the monumental rock-cut tombs of Norchia, in inland southern Etruria, makes it possible to examine, thanks to the type of tomb (cube, half-cube, temple-tomb, etc.) specific spaces of memory. The study carried out is divided into two branches: the memory of the dece￾ased in anthropomorphic sarcophagi, which we presented at the PRIN 2020 conference held in Gaeta, and the memory in the funerary cult, which will be the subject of this paper. The memory of the groups is do￾cumented in the rock-cut tombs in their most significant places of worship: platforms, façades, under-facades, and underground burial chambers. Through an extensive and unique virtual reconstruction of the ancient funerary landscape by means of a GIS, it will be possible to highlight the areas in which memory persists and what activities took place there in order to cultivate it for as long as possible.
