Welcome to the Special issue dedicated to HYCELTEC2024, the IX International Symposium on Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Advanced Bat teries, an interdisciplinary conference on topics related to hydrogen production and storage, as well as the development of fuel cell and battery technology and applications. The IX Symposium was held from June 30 to July 3, 2024, in the Caste of Milazzo (Italy), within the magnificent ancient fortified citadel of Milazzo (the largest fortified citadel existing in Sicily).
