The practical exploitation of bio-molecules both for the clean hydrogen production and chemical storage has been assessed. FeCu-based catalyst showed a good activity in the dehydrogenation of organic molecules while NiMo-based one were selected for the hydrogenation process. Noble metal-based catalysts were reported for comparison.
