This paper presents a transferable model for the management and teaching of oral archives, addressing the methodological, technical, legal, and educational challenges posed by oral and sensitive data. The proposed model is articulated into three complementary components. First, it provides a lifecycle framework that structures the management of oral archives from source acquisition to metadata creation, repository deposition, transcription, and analysis. Second, it integrates FAIR principles and GDPR requirements through a governance framework that supports the sustainable, legally compliant management and reuse of oral resources. Third, it translates these principles into a modular training programme aligned with CLARIN priorities, supporting the development of methodological, technical, and data-literacy skills. Designed within the ROADS project, the model is intended as a reusable framework for CLARIN centres and other research infrastructures working with oral archives.
