In celebration of World Energy Efficiency Day, the BIOBUILD project invites its sister projects to co-organise a joint workshop exploring how bio-based innovation and circular solutions can accelerate the transition towards energy-efficient, low-carbon buildings in Europe. The workshop aims to highlight how research and innovation projects are shaping the next generation of building materials: reducing energy demand, enhancing recyclability, and supporting EU climate and circular economy objectives. Objectives Showcase recent research results and demonstrations from sister projects working on sustainable and circular building materials. Discuss opportunities and challenges related to integrating energy efficiency and circularity in the built environment. Strengthen collaboration among EU-funded projects addressing similar challenges.
